Passive equipment
Passive or inactive devices are devices that are not programmable and can not make changes to the information or content exchanged on the network. Some of the equipment used to install and configure network hardware (such as cabling and device installations) also fall into this category.
Equipment in this category of network products is divided into the following two categories:
1- Copper based equipment
Types of cables suitable for use indoors and outdoors, patch cords, patch panels (without shield and shielded), caskets, connectors and tools. In UTP, FTP and SFTP types on the basis of C5e, C6, C6A networks
2- Fiber optic based equipment
Cables (Single Mode, Multi-mode), suitable for indoor and outdoor use, patch cords in different sizes, patch panels, adapters, fiber cassettes, pigtails and tools
